Daring Camp + Paper Mache = Fun!

After swimming in the morning, Daring Artists were off to make SPITBALLS!  With close supervision and clear directions not to spit the spitballs on fellow campers, campers learned the techniques to make phenomenoal spitballs.  They took aim at a target on a tree and had a blast trying to hit it.  After lunch campers started at fantastic paper mache pinata project.  Today consisted of ripping newspaper and using gluey strips to cover a balloon.  After the shell of the pinata dry campers will use their artistic eye to paint them!  Stay tuned!

Tomorrow is our field trip to the Art Museum.  The Daring Campers will be having an art lesson called "Animals in Art" where they will explore the role animals play in art and then create a mixed media project.  Until then!
