The Magic Tree House Campers, who have named themselves the Mona Lisas this week, were off to a splashingly fun start at the pool! When returning to camp they made sketchbooks that they will use throughout the week to sketch and draw just like Leonardo DaVinci did! After lunch they spent some time at the playground and field running around and having fun with old and new friends. They had a relaxing end to the day as they enjoyed spending time in the Magic Tree House listening to Jack and Annie have their adventure in Italy. Ask your camper to tell you some of the Italian words he or she has been learning! At the end of the day they played some tag games which are always a lot of fun!
Tomorrow is our field trip to the Art Museum. MTH campers will be having an art lesson called "Let's Face It" which focuses on self portraits. Green Summer at Laurel shirts should be worn if your camper already has one, if not he or she will be given one tomorrow!
