Daring Camp Visits the Fire Station!

Daring Camp had a fantastic day visiting the heroes that work at the Russell Fire Department.  We got to check out the fire trucks and the ambulance.  Each camper got a read-out of his or her heartbeat using these specials stickers that the fireman stuck to our arms and legs.  We ate lunch in the area where the firemen eat at the station, got to try on a helmet, saw where they sleep at the station and even got to cool off as they sprayed us with the fire hose!  To complete the day we got ice cream from Dairy Island!
