Magic Tree House: Revolutionary War on Wednesday

Magic Tree House stepped back into time today as they began talking about the 18th century with the book Revolutionary War on Wednesday. Leading the group this week is Caitlin Moury, a teacher at Laurel School and Hayley Elszasz, a recent Laurel graduate. The morning was off to a very good smelling start as the campers each made a Pomander Ball. They talked about what pomander balls are used for (making things smell good) and why they were used (because people didn't shower much back then!). Boys and girls enjoyed a morning creek walk and particularly liked ending the day with some large group games with Daring Camp and Channel 56- specifically Dead Ant Tag. Stay tuned for more!

Please remember that tomorrow is swimming- campers should wear their bathing suits under their clothes, bring a towel and a change of clothes!
