Rain, Rain, GO AWAY!

Today was stormy here at Butler Campus.  Luckily, we were still able to swim in the morning because Ursuline's pool is inside.  The campers really enjoying having some unstructured swim time and love using the kickboards and noodles to float around.  While at the pool, girls of Channel 56 participated in Project Adventure.  The girls were able to do the Catwalk and some of the girls also got to do the Burma Bridge before the rain came.  When Magic Tree House Camp and Daring Camp arrived back to camp from swimming it had already started raining (boo!) .  We made the most of it by crafting in the lodge and playing games out in the pavilion.  Daring Campers made beautiful 4th of July star wreaths, while Magic Tree House Campers made fireworks hats!  Quite impressive!

The bus stayed at camp today to help shuttle us up to the Butler Center for lunch, bring us back to the lodge and to take the girls of Channel 56 to the Fairmount House for an afternoon of baking and decorating!

Although, wet and rainy, and definitelty not an ideal day of camp, we all made the best of it!  There is no camp tomorrow!

We wish you all a safe and happy 4th of July!
