Magic Tree House Camp: Hour of the Olympics

Today was the first day in Magic Tree House Camp's Hour of the Olympics week!  We have two groups of Magic Tree House Camp running this week.  The first group, called The Champions is led by Christina Crouch, World Languages Coordinator at Laurel School, and Terah Coleman, a recent Laurel graduate.  The second group, called The Leapers, is lead by Meghan Davis, a teacher in Laurel's after school program, and Haley Elszasz, a recent Laurel graduate.  This week the campers will be following Jack and Annie on their adventure in Hour of the Olympics.  The book takes the kids back in time to Ancient Greece!  This morning the campers made an Olympic torch to kick off the start of the week!  They also enjoyed a trip down to the creek where they caught crayfish, skipped stones and enjoyed playing in the cool waters.  The end of the day was a lot of fun as the campers had a chance to play some large group games with Daring Camp in the SPRINKLERS! 

Please remember, tomorrow is swimming!  Campers should wear their bathing suits to camp, under their clothes, and bring a change of clothes and towel!
