Tuesday At Butler

Whoa, today was hot!  Both camps stayed cool this morning at the pool.  The water was nice and refreshing and the campers definitely loved jumping in and splashing around.  When arriving back to Butler, the camps split up into their respective groups for a day full of fun!

Some of the things that Magic Tree House Campers did today, but not limited to, was make a 'bamboo' slat book, make a dragon using their hand prints, read more about the adventure of Jack and Annie in the tree house,  hike down to the creek to catch crayfish and play in the cool water, and play some really fun group games.

Some of the things that Daring Campers did today were, make jello, make pasta salad, prepare and cook quesadillas, played some water games (like Drip, Drip SPLASH!), went on a hike and played in the sprinklers.

Tomorrow is our field trip day (for both camps) please remember to wear your green Summer at Laurel t-shirt if you already have one, if not you will be given one tomorrow.  DARING CAMPERS MUST HAVE PERMISSION SLIPS SIGNED TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR FIELD TRIP TOMORROW!
