Freaky Friday: CrAzY hAiR dAy!!

Today was CrAzY hAiR dAy here at the Butler Campus!  Both Daring Camp and Magic Tree House Camp certainly got into the spirit of things!  We had campers with candy in their hair, toys, different color hair, clips, braids, ponytails and one camper who even went all out and shaved a mowhawk into his hair!  Although the vote was close, and the competition fierce, two winners from each camp (a boy and a girl) rose to the top in triumph and were announced at the end of the day!

Along with Freaky Friday and Friday the 13th, Magic Tree House campers also enjoyed heading down to the creek, finishing up their Tigers at Twilight book, playing a group game with Daring Camp and making a really cool monkey frame!

The Daring Campers had a blast with Project Adventure today!  They really are able to work as teams and complete the challenge games.  Today's game involved a huge jump rope and trying to get your group across.  The elements they did were the Mohawk Walk and the Giant Spider Web.  They also enjoyed making disguises, running through the sprinklers and playing a large group game with Magic Tree House camp.
